25-bed critical-access hospital with 24/7 emergency department. Services include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN and birthing center, primary care, mammography, MRI, and CT.

Public, not-for-profit critical-access hospital with 24/7 emergency department. Primary care & specialty clinic, surgical services, orthopedics, gynecology, radiology, and IV infusions. Located at the confluence of the Columbia, Okanogan, and Methow rivers.

Tertiary referrals for complex specialty care, transplants, and certain cancer treatments. Hwy 20 closes in winter; plan around Stevens Pass status.

Not in the Methow Valley itself. The two closest critical-access hospitals are Mid Valley Hospital in Omak (~30 miles from Twisp) and Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster (~45 miles). Most specialty and complex care routes to Wenatchee (~80 mi) or Seattle.
The valley has local clinics for routine primary care. Wait times and capacity vary — many residents establish a relationship with a primary-care provider in the upper or lower valley, and travel to Omak or Wenatchee for specialty care. I’m happy to share what I know about current local options when we talk.
Yes — both in-person and telehealth options are available. Many residents use telehealth for specialty mental-health care. If you would like a referral to a specific local provider, ask and I’ll connect you.
Volunteer fire and EMS serve the valley. Response times depend on your location relative to the nearest station. For properties in remote areas, factor this into emergency planning — including driveway access, address visibility, and winter road maintenance.
